Why Two Boxes?
ClosetMix is the place to make outfits, and to make an
outfit you need a top and a bottom. You can
enter in any ClosetMix Username (as long as the user has
added a top/bottom) in each box, like this:
In the example above. if you click the Mix It Up
button, you will be able to make outfits with
OldNavyWomen
TOPS and
AmericanEagleWomen BOTTOMS -

If you wanted see what
AmericanEagleWomen TOPS and
OldNavyWomen
BOTTOMS would look like together, you would do this:
then click the Mix It Up button - get ready for
fashion heaven! See, easy isn't it?
Raid Your Friends Closet
Not only can you make outfits from the
clothing
brands on ClosetMix, you can also make outfits with
your friends clothes! No need to ask for
permission, or even visit! As long as you know your
friend ClosetMix username, you're all set!
You can also mix your friends clothes with the
clothing
brands on ClosetMix.
Fashion Emergency
Let's say that you (we'll make believe that your name is
Mya) want to help your bff Amy pick out something fantastic
from her closet to wear to the party this weekend,
once she has already added her clothes to ClosetMix, here's
what you do:
- Call her up and find out her ClosetMix Username.
She says it's
Amy123.
- Now get to your computer, go to
www.closetmix.com
- Click on the
Mix tab
- And enter her ClosetMix Username into BOTH boxes,
like this:
and click the Mix It Up button - now you can see
exactly what outfits can be made with the clothes she
already has. Mya has just won the
thank-you-so-much award from Amy!
