People sure do a lot of things on a lot of different
websites - we wanted to give people a way to put their
favorite outfits from ClosetMix on their website or blog,
their MySpace page, basically anywhere on the internet.
There are 2 ways to do it:
 MySpace
Outfit Embed Code (HTML)
MySpace is really cool. Using the ClosetMix MySpace
Embed Code makes you really cool. Okay, so here are
the things you need to know about the ClosetMix MySpace
Outfit Embed Code:
- To use the ClosetMix MySpace Embed Code copy the
ENTIRE MySpace Outfit Embed Code from this box:
login to MySpace, click the [Edit Profile] link
then paste the code into any of the boxes, like this:
NOTE: You pasted HTML code - this is what a web
browser reads
once you save your changes, your MySpace page now your
friends can see just how stylish plaid and stripes
really can be.
- Unfortunately your MySpace page visitors cannot
mix the outfit on your MySpace page - hey we really did
try!
MySpace does not allow the web code needed to make that
happen. If you also have your own website/blog, we
recommend using the
Interactive Embed Code below.
- You can use this embed code on AMY website/blog (not
just MySpace) that does not allow iFrames.
- Once a top/bottom is clicked, the visitor is brought
to the ClosetMix outfit page where they have full access
to the complete set of cool ClosetMix outfit features.
- You can copy and paste as many outfits as you want
into your MySpace profile.
Interactive Embed Code (iFrame)
Bring
ClosetMix to your website/blog instantly! This embed code makes a mini
ClosetMix on your site (and allows users to be a lot more
interactive with the outfits than the ClosetMix MySpace
Embed Code from above). Here's what you need to know:
- To use the Interactive Embed Code ClosetMix copy and
paste the code from the Interactive Embed Code text box (on any
OUTFIT page - there is no embed code on
the pages that just have one top or one bottom, only
Outfit pages) into the HTML code on your website/blog, like this:
after you save/upload the page - your page will
have this interactive ClosetMix feature:
Notice how you can use the arrows to mix up the
clothes!
- Some blog/website providers don't allow iFrames,
don't be mad - just use the
ClosetMix MySpace
Embed Code (above).
- Your visitors will love you for letting them mix
clothes ON YOUR SITE!
- Once a top/bottom is clicked, the visitor is brought
to the ClosetMix outfit page where they have full access
to the complete set of cool ClosetMix outfit features.
- HINT if you just want YOUR clothes to display on
YOUR WEBSITE, do a
MIX with your ClosetMix Username for the Top
AND BOTTOM - then copy that Interactive Embed Code.
